Mississippi Mud Cake
INGREDIENTS
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup Cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons powder
- 1 cup nuts (I used pecans)
- 1 jar marshmallow cream
- Icing:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts (I used pecans)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine eggs and sugar and beat until creamy.
- Add melted butter, flour, cocoa, vanilla and nuts. Mix well.
- Pour into a greased pan and bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
- As soon as cake is removed from oven cover with marshmallow cream.
- Icing:
- Melt butter and removed from heat.
- Add milk, cocoa, sugar and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add nuts and mix well.
- Pour over top of marshmallow cream
