Mixed Berries And Cream Margaritas (Not a drink)

- Berries and Cream Margaritas
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon lemon peel
- 2 cups mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and sliced strawberries)
- ½ teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
- 8 oz. heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup sugar
DIRECTIONS
- In a cold bowl pour heavy whipping cream and whisk until soft peaks form. Slowly add sugar a little at a time. Whisk it in before adding more. Whisk all sugar and continue whisking until firm peaks form. Place in fridge until ready to use.
- In a small sauce pan bring /4 cup sugar and water to a boil. Cook, stirring often until sugar dissolves, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in lemon peel and let cool.
- Place mixed berries until half full in a margarita glass.
- Pour sugar mixture on top of berries.
- Take out the whip cream from the fridge and spoon the desired amount on to the berries.
- Garnish with some lemon zest.
