Mock Cherry Pie
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups cranberries, halved
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- Pie Crust (2 crusts)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix dry ingredients, then add cranberries, raisins and water.
- Bring slowly to boil and stir 5 minutes.
- Pour in pastry lined pie pan and sprinkle with almond extract.
- Top with lattice crust.
- Bake 30-40 minutes at 425 degrees.
