Moist Chocolate Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsps. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. hot coffee
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • frosting
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sift together dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add oil, coffee and milk.
  3. Mix at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla; beat 2 more minutes. (Batter will be thin)
  5. Pour into two greased and floured 9" cake pans.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool cakes for 15 minutes before removing from pans.
  8. Cool on wire racks.
  9. Frost once completely cooled
