Mom's Amazing Stuffed Chicken

  • 4-6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 Box of Stuffing
  • 1 Can of Cream of Mushroom soup(can substitute Cream of Chicken)
  • 1/2 C Sour Cream
  • 2 C Cheese
  • Optional- Fresh Mushrooms
  • You will need a 8X8 or a 11X13 baking pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Get your baking pan ready.
  3. Make the stuffing according to the directions on the box.
  4. While it sits butterfly your chicken to make a nice pocket.
  5. Next put the stuffing, cream of musroom soup, sour cream, half the cheese, and if you are using fresh mushrooms add those now, in a bowl and mix together.
  6. Stuff the chicken with the mixture( It won't all fit and thats a good thing)
  7. Lay the chicken as you fill it in the pan.
  8. Once thats done Spoon the remaining stuffing between the chicken so they don't stick together.
  9. Cook for about 30 minutes, depending on your oven, and take it out.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  11. Serve with a salad and you got a one dish meal that absolutley delicious!

Growing up this dish was the one thing my sister and I could agree on LOL It's so good, and I love making it but my Mom is still better at making it then me.
