Mom's Famous Spinach Dip

  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise ( I use Miracle Whip)
  • 4 green onions
  • 1 pkg Knorr vegetable soup mix
  • 1 pkg frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 round loaf pumpernickel bread
  1. Thaw and drain spinach. Mix all ingredients; refrigerate in covered dish for 8 to 10 hours or more.
  2. A couple hours before serving put the dip into 1 hollowed out round loaf of pumpernickel bread.
  3. Put remaining bread around bowl to use for dipping. Once that is gone, you can start pulling apart the bowl the dip is in!
This is the perfect appetizer for any party!
