Mom's Homemade Chicken Alfredo

  • 1 tbs. butter
  • 1 tbs. flour
  • 2 Cups Half and Half
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 - 3 chicken breasts (cooked; grilled is also delicious)
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Melt flour in skillet
  2. 2. Add flour and cook for a minute or two (be careful not to brown it)
  3. 3. Slowly add the half and half, salt and cheese.
  4. 4. On low heat cook until the sauce thickens (you may need to add a little more flour - if so completely "dissolve" the flour in water before adding it to the pot to prevent lumps)
  5. 5. Add cubed chicken and season to taste.
  6. Serve with your favorite pasta!

This is actually a recipe that Bethany and I created together! We LOVE pasta and Alfredo so this was a perfect idea!
