Mom's Mac nut jello

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2/3 c chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 c flour
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 1 small box lemon jello
  • 1 c hot water
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 pt whipping cream
  • 2 c hot water
  • 2 c ice
  • 3 small boxes strawberry jello
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream sugar and butter then add flour and nuts
  2. Press into a 9x12 pyrex pan
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown
  4. Let cool
  5. Dissolve lemon jello in 1 cup hot water.
  6. Cream together cream cheese and sugar and mix into jello, let cool
  7. Add whipping cream, mixing well
  8. Pour onto cooled crust
  9. Chill for 40 minutes
  10. Dissolve strawberry jello in 2 cups hot water, then add ice to help cool quicker
  11. Pour over center layer and chill overnightq=
