Mom's Polish Chili
  • Servings: At least 6
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, sliced or chopped
  • 1-2 cans red kidney beans with liquid
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1-2 pounds dry spaghetti
  1. Brown beef and onion with desired seasonings in a large pot and drain. Add remaining ingredients with enough water added to cook the pasta, and cook according to pasta directions. DO NOT DRAIN.
  2. This dish is best served a day or so after cooking. The longer you wait the better it tastes. The pasta will puff up as the cooking water is absorbed.
This is something that my husband asked me to learn how to make; he'd grown up with it and it's one of his favorite meals.
