Mom's Sour Cream Pound Cake
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 60 to 75 minutes
  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 tsp. vanilla extract (can sub orange for this)
  • 3 cups cake flour
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Cream together sugar and butter
  3. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing between
  4. Add sour cream
  5. Add flour and soda
  6. Add flavoring, continuing to mix.
  7. Bake between 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes in greased bundt pan.
