Mom's Spaghetti Sauce
INGREDIENTS
  • In 2 T oil, saute
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1 T green peppers
  • (celery stalk if using)
  • Add
  • 42 oz canned tomatoes
  • 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 t Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 t celery salt or 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1 c water
  • 1 t Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t oregano
  • 1/4 t chili powder
  • 6 oz can mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t thyme
  • 1 t rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
DIRECTIONS
  1. Simmer 1 1/2 hours
