Moms Chocolate Caramels
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp syrup
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  1. Boil all ingredients together to a caramel.
  2. When one drop is added to cold water and forms into a caramel then it´s ready.
  3. Then put on a plate or in molds that have been buttered (I think your american butter spray is excellent for this) and let cool.
  4. Cut in bits and fold in baking paper.
This is one of the first things my mom did with my grandmom in the Kitchen :) Then later we all did it together.
