Mother's Jello Cake
  • Knox (or other) gelatin: Use 1 pkg for each layer
  • Coloring, flavoring, and sweeteners for gelatin to suit
  • Fruit cocktail (well-drained)
  • Shredded coconut
  • Whipped cream
  1. Color, flavor, and sweeten gelatin to suit.
  2. Chill gelatin until thickened.
  3. Then whip and add well-drained fruit cocktail.
  4. Pour into layer cake tins.
  5. When set, turn onto cake plate, one on top of other.
  6. Put shredded coconut on sides.
  7. Spread whipped cream on top.
  8. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
