Mother’s Noodle Pudding
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 1 hour
  • 8 oz pkg noodles
  • 2 T melted butter
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1/2 lb pot cheese
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1-1/2 tsp vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. Parboil noodles.
  2. Beat egg yolks.
  3. Cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add pot cheese, sour cream and vanilla to beaten egg yolks.
  5. Blend parboiled noodles.
  6. Stiffly beat egg whites.
  7. Fold beaten egg whites into mixture.
  8. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
