Mushroom Pork Chops in Gravy

  • 6 one inch pork chops
  • seasonings (see below)
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup dried mushrooms of fresh
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season both sides of chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder and cajun seasoning. Pan fry until both sides are browned, then place in a 13x9 baking pan in one layer. Set aside. Add butter to skillet, when melted add onions and mushrooms and cook about 5 minutes on medium heat. Add soup to onion mixture and when it is hot, pour over pork chops. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
