Mushroom Rolls

- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 pound of mushrooms, chopped
- 1/4 cup of butter or margarine
- Cook this all together till onions are soft and clear. Then add mix well and cool.
- 8-oz cream cheese in pieces
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- Pinch of garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- White bread and butter for brushing on the bread
- Remove the crusts from the bread and roll each slice using a rolling pin to flatten.
- Spread each slice of flattened bread with the cooled mushrom mixture.
- Roll up jelly roll fashion.
- Brush with melted butter and bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
- To serve cut each roll into 2-3 pieces and you can secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Makes about 4 dozen.
- Can be frozen unbaked. ~Janie
