My Mother's Chocolate Cake

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 package chocolage cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
DIRECTIONS
  1. In Small bowl, blend all filling, beat till smooth and creamy. Set aside. In large bowl, blend cake mix, eggs, oil and water until mixed good. Pour half of batter into well greased cake pan then pour cream cheese mixture over batter spreading to cover, Pour remaining batter over all. Bake 350 for 40-50 minutes.
