Nan Khatai - Eggless Indian Cookie - Melt in Mouth Biscuit

  • 2 Cup All Purpose Flour (Maida),
  • ¾ Cup Ghee (Clarified Butter),
  • 1 Cup Powder Sugar (Heaped),
  • 11/2 Tbsp. Semolina (Rawa),
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder (Elachi),
  • Cashew for garnishing.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Take ghee & sugar in a bowl & give a nice whisk till it become smooth & fluffy.
  2. Add semolina & flour & beat it again.
  3. Add cardamom powder & mix well & prepare a soft dough.
  4. Make a small nankhatai & arrange in baking tray. Apply a very small amount of milk & place cashew on it.
  5. Bake nankhatai at 180*C for 30-35 minutes in oven.
  6. After baking allow it for cooling for 30 minutes. Store in air tight container.
