Nancy's Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

  • Servings: 3 dozen cookies
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • About 36 Hershey'sĀ® KissesĀ® unwrapped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly stir together flour, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream sugars, butter, egg and vanilla. Add peanut butter and milk, mix well. Add dry ingredients.
  3. Spoon out by spoonfuls onto uncreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and top each cookie with a kiss while still hot.
  4. TIP: If you like crunchy cookies, replace the butter with shortening, but otherwise the butter makes them nice and chewy.
