Nectarine Cobbler
INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 6
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 4 cups peeled and sliced nectarines 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2/3 cup baking mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
DIRECTIONS
  1. In 1-quart shallow casserole, combine nectarines, sugar, 1 tablespoon baking mix and cinnamon.
  2. In medium bowl, mix remaining 2/3 cup baking mix with brown sugar.
  3. Cut in Butter until mixture is size of small peas.
  4. Stir in milk until moistened; drop by spoonfuls onto fruit.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees F., or until toothpick inserted into crust comes out clean.
  6. Let stand 5 minutes.
