New York Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS
  • Crust:
  • 1 C graham cracker crumbs
  • ¾ C sugar
  • 1/4 C plus 2T melted butter
  • Filling:
  • 2 (8oz) cream cheese softened.
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 1 ½ C sour cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream together cheese, eggs and vanilla.
  2. When smooth, add sour cream and mix well.
  3. Pour over crust and bake in lower 1/3 of a 325 oven for 45 min.
  4. When baking is finished broil the top of the cheesecake till top shows attractive spots of brown.
  5. Refrigerate over night.
