No-Fail Breakfast Casserole
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 30
- 1 - 24oz. bag of frozen hash browns
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 lb. sausage, cooked & drained
- 4-5 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
DIRECTIONS
- Thaw hash browns & squeeze out the extra liquid. Place in mixing bowl.
- Add melted butter
- and mix together.
- Turn into a 9x13 baking dish that has been sprayed with non stick spray like Pam.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the hash browns have cooked and are brown and somewhat crispy. Remove from oven.
- Cover the hash browns with the cheddar cheese & the cooked & crumbled sausage. Beat eggs with milk and pour over sausage/cheese mixture.
- Bake at 325 until cheese is melted & the eggs are set.
- At this point, I remove the baking dish and sprinkle on more cheese.
- I return the dish to the oven and melt the cheese.
