No Peek Beef Casserole

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds stew beef, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 3/8 ounce envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 ounce can whole mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 cup quick-cooking tapioca (optional)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine all ingredients in crock-pot. Stir together well. Cover and cook on Low 8 to 12 hours. Serve over noodles or rice. (High: 4 to 6 hours). Serves 4.
