No more scary Brussels!
  • Cooking Time: 15ish
  • Preparation Time: 5
  • Brussels sprouts (frozen or fresh)
  • Bacon crumbles (we used bagged but fresh would be great)
  • Butter
  • Parmesan cheese (we used shaker but imagine fresh grated!)
  • Amounts vary a lot, all depends on preferences and amount of food needed :)
  1. 1) steam the sprouts until you can poke them with a knife
  2. 2) cut them in half (vertical, so the base is cut)
  3. 3) place in a container that has a lid and space to shake around
  4. 4) put in bacon, parm and butter slices
  5. 5) shake-shake-shake-sinora!
I'm 29 and had never had Brussels sprouts, heard tons of horror stories though... a month or two ago people on twitter started talking either about how they make them tolerable or how much they hate them. It was a couple weeks ago that we decided to try making them, our own way! They turned out delicious! I've even gotten a couple previous haters to like them.
