Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

  • 1 stick of butter, softned
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1 cup raisins
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cover baking sheets in foil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and sugars until creamy.
  3. Add in egg and vanilla; beat well
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredient mixture to the creamy mixture, beating together
  6. Add oats and mix well with a rubber spatula.
  7. Add raising and fold in.
  8. Drop by rounded tbsp. fulls on to baking sheets
  9. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden; cool 1 minute on baking sheet.
