Oatmeal and chocolate cookies
INGREDIENTS

- Preparation Time: 15 minutes
- 1 stick of butter soften
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cup oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 and cover cookie sheet with foil.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add in egg and vanilla and beat well.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add in dry ingredient mixture to creamy mixture by beating together.
- Add oats and mix well with a rubber spatula.
- Drop by round table spooned full onto baking sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until light golden; cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet
