Oatmeal m and m cookies Lab 2

INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 10 minutes
  • Servings: 2 dozen

  • 1 stick of butter softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup m and m's
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cover baking sheets with foil
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugars until creamy
  3. add in egg and vanilla and beat well
  4. in a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
  5. Gradually add in dry ingredients to the creamy by beating them together
  6. add in oats and mix well with a rubber spatula
  7. add in m and m's and fold
  8. drop by rounded tablespoons onto covered baking sheet
  9. bake 8-10 mins or until light golden; cool 1 minute n baking sheet
