Old Fashioned Butterscotch Pie

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
DIRECTIONS
  1. Whisk in egg yolks; continue to cook and stir until filling is thickened.
  2. Remove filling from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla.
  3. Chill until set then top with whipped cream.
