Orange basil pasta
  • Cooking Time: 7-8

  • 1/2 lb tagliatelle
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 8 leaves basil, chiseled (I used dried)
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Mascarpone cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
  1. Cook pasta according to package direction.
  2. In the meantime, prepare the sauce: in a bowl, combine the orange zest, basil, Mascarpone and Parmesan.
  3. About a minute before the pasta is done cooking, take about 3 tablespoons of the cooking water and stir in the Mascarpone sauce.
  4. Drain the pasta, mix in the sauce and serve immediately.
I was looking for a pasta recipe the other day and found this one on a French cooking site. So I tried it tonight and it was delicious.
