Oreo Truffles
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pkg. Oreo's - not double stuffed or chocolate
  • 8 oz. pkg. Cream cheese - softened
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1/4 block parafin wax
DIRECTIONS
  1. Crush 9 Oreo's in food processor, set aside. Crush remaining oreo's, add softened cream cheese and mix well. Roll into bite size balls and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and wax in double boiler. Mix well. Dip frozen balls. Place on waxed paper to set up. Sprinkle with reserved oreos. Let set for about 20 minutes.
  3. Keep refrigerated.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I use a mini crock pot to melt my chocolate chips. It keeps the melted chocolate at the perfect temp for all my candy dipping.
