Oriental Chicken Salad
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 Cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup green onion
  • 2 cups chicken (grilled)
  • 1 pkg oriental ramen noodle soup (broken up)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tbl oil (for browning)
  • 1 tbl sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 5 tbl sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown noodles, sliced almonds and sesame seeds in 2 tbl of oil.
  2. Toss into combined cabbage, green onion, and chicken.
  3. Add seasoning packet from noodles to vinegar, oil, sugar and pepper.
  4. Mix well and pour over salad.
  5. Toss.
  6. Let sit over night. (chicken may be added the following day)
