Original Hummus

  • 2 cups canned chick peas, drained
  • 2/3 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • parsley for garnish
  • 2 tsp olive oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. Put chick peas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, garlic salt and cumin in food processor. Mix until smooth.
  2. The hummus can be thinned out by adding a bit of oil or liquid from the can of chick peas.
  3. Refrigerate.
  4. sprinkle chopped parsley on top
