Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 C. bread crumbs
  • 1 T. Italian seasoning
  • 2 T. parmesan cheese (kind from a can)
  • 1 jar ready made pasta sauce (26-28 oz)
  • 1 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
  1. Heat oven to 400. Mix the parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and bread crumbs together and put in a pie plate. Dip chicken in egg then bread crumbs, coating well. Arrange chicken in a 13X9 dish and bake uncovered 20 minutes. Pour Pasta sauce, then top with cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Serve on top of cooked hot spaghetti if desired.
