Oven Fried Chicken

  • 4 pcs. chicken bone in (your choice)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tblsp. half & half
  • 1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. potato flakes
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3 Tblsp. melted butter
  • 1 Tblsp. oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. Wash chicken and pat dry.
  2. In a small bowl, beat egg and half & half. In another bowl, combine the bread crumbs, potato
  3. flakes and garlic salt. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture. Then roll in crumb mixture. Place chicken in a baking pan. Sprinkle with melted butter and oil.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Increase oven to 450 degrees and bake another 10- 15 minutes, depending on size of chicken pieces.
