PAULINE'S STEWED ARTICHOKES AND POTATOES
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen
  • artichokes
  • 4 medium boiling potatoes
  • 1/2 c. white wine vinegar
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 c. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. yellow mustard (dry)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. (Italian) Wish-Bone
  • dressing
  • juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. Chef-Magic Louisiana
  • Kitchen spices
  • 1 pinch or more salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook artichokes as package directs. Peel, slice and
  2. boil potatoes. Mix oil, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, mustard,
  3. spices, garlic, salt and Wish-Bone in small amounts. Add to
  4. taste. Add onion. Meanwhile, drain cooked artichokes and
  5. potatoes; place in a bowl. Add dressing; stir well and let
  6. cool for 1/2 an hour. Refrigerate several hours. May also be
  7. served hot.
