PEACH CUSTARD PIE
INGREDIENTS
- crust
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 stp salt
- 1/2 c soft butter
- Filling
- 1 lb 14 oz can of sliced peaches (save 1/2 c syrup)
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg and 1 cup evaporated milk.
DIRECTIONS

- Mix to make a coarse meal and press with the back of a spoon into the bottom and sides of a 10" pie plate (you only need to go about 3/4 of the way up the sides).
- filling
- Drain a 1 lb 14 oz can of sliced peaches (save 1/2 c syrup) and arrange slices on the crust.
- Mix 1/2 c sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon -- sprinkle over peach slices.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the 1/2 c of syrup with 1 egg and 1 cup evaporated milk.
- Pour over peaches and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until custard is firm except in center.
- Can be served warm or cold.
