PORK STROGANOFF

INGREDIENTS
- 2 lean pork chops or fillets, sliced to ½ inch
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- ¼ cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
- • Melt b utter in skillet. Sauté pork slices until browned,
- about 10 minutes. Move pork slices aside (unless draining
- excess grease is needed) and sauté onion and mushrooms.
- Mix sour cream with onions and mushrooms, adding sage
- and seasonings. Spoon cream mixture over pork slices
- and heat on low heat. Do not boil. Allow sauce to reduce
- and thicken slightly. Serve immediately
