PORK STROGANOFF
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lean pork chops or fillets, sliced to ½ inch
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
  1. • Melt b utter in skillet. Sauté pork slices until browned,
  2. about 10 minutes. Move pork slices aside (unless draining
  3. excess grease is needed) and sauté onion and mushrooms.
  4. Mix sour cream with onions and mushrooms, adding sage
  5. and seasonings. Spoon cream mixture over pork slices
  6. and heat on low heat. Do not boil. Allow sauce to reduce
  7. and thicken slightly. Serve immediately
