• 2 - 3 lb. round steak
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 2 t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper
  • oil
  • 1 C. onion chopped fine
  • Can of mushroom soup
  1. Cut the round steak up into 3 inch square pieces. Pound the steaks until you can almost see thru them.
  2. Mix together the flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Dip the steak into a bowl of water and then into the flour. Shake off the excess.
  4. Heat some oil in a skillet. Brown meat squares. Remove them to a plate after browning. Continue until all the steaks are browned. Add a little more oil to the pan and add the onions. Cook until onions are tender.
  5. Add the can of mushroom soup to the pan with 1 can of water. Return the steaks to the pan and cover with the sauce.
  6. Cover the pan and bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes.
