Paige's Chocolate Nut Clusters
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cupful (5 ounce package) Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 teaspoonful shortening
- cashews, peanuts, pecan halves, English walnut halves or miniature marshmallows
DIRECTIONS
- Pick over nutmeats.
- Heat the chocolate pieces with shortening on top of the double boiler over hot, not boiling water.
- Throw in a half a cupful of nuts (one kind at a time) and stir around in the melted chocolate. Take out nuts with a fork, and place in little piles on waxed paper covered cookie sheet. Refrigerate until set.
