Pam's Spinach Lasagna

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 15 oz jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 package lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 1 cup water
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, egg, spinach and oregano and pepper together. In greased 9x13" dish, layer 1/2 cup sauce, a third of the noodles and 1/2 of the cheese mixture. Repeat. Top with remaining noodles then sauce. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. Pour water around edges. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes until bubbly. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
