Peanut Butter Marbled Brownies

  • Peanut Butter Filling:
  • 2- 3 oz pkgs. softened cream chees
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tblsps. milk
  • chocolate batter
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsps. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 1-1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Peanut Butter Filling
  2. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese,peanut butter, sugar, egg and milk together. Put aside.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Grease a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

  5. Stir together melted butter, sugar
  6. and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well.
  7. Add cocoa; beat until well blended.
  8. Add flour, baking powder and salt;
  9. beat well. Stir in chips. Remove
  10. 1 c. batter. Pour remaining batter
  11. into prepared pan. Spread Peanut Butter Filling over surface. Drop reserved chocolate batter by teaspoonfuls over filling. Using knife, gently swirl for marbled effect. Bake 35-40 minute or until wooden toothpick comes out
  12. almost clean.
