Pecan Strawberry Coconut Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry jello
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. pecans or walnuts
  • 1 c. strawberries sliced
  • ICING:
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 lb. powder sugar
  • 1/2 c. cut up strawberries
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine cake mix, jello, oil and milk in a large bowl. Beat. Add 1
  2. egg at a time beating on medium speed after each egg added. Fold in
  3. strawberries, nuts and coconut. Pour into 3 greased and floured cake
  4. pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes
  5. Blend all icing ingredients well and ice cooled cake
