Pepper Pops

INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 25 -30
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese
  • 1/2 jar real bacon bits
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound jalapeƱos, halved lengthwise and seeds removed (MAKE SURE TO WEAR GLOVES)
  • 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine cheeses, bacon and seasonings; mix well. Fill each pepper half with about 2 tbsp of cheese mixture.
  2. Roll in bread crumbs.
  3. Place on greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 300 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until peppers are of desired tenderness.
