  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 c butter-flavored Crisco
  • 6 c flour
  • 2 t soda
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t cloves
  • salt
  • 1 t allspice
  • 1/2 c sour milk
  • 1/4 c molasses
  • 3/4 dark karo syrup
  • 1 egg
DIRECTIONS
  1. Beat sugar and crisco until smooth. Add milk, molasses, syrup, and egg and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Refrigerate dough until chilled through. Remove from fridge and roll into 1/2 to 1 inch rolls. Chill rolls completely. Slice and bake at 365 degrees for 10 minutes.
