Pepperoni Rolls

INGREDIENTS
  • Dough:
  • 3/4 cup very warm water (105°-115°)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. yeast
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups flour
  • Filling:
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. In large mixing bowl, stir together warm water, oil, sugar and salt.
  2. Sprinkle yeast over ingredients; stir to dissolve.
  3. Stir in 1 1/2 cups flour. Add more if needed.
  4. Knead for five minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°.
  6. Roll out dough on floured surface into a rectangle. (Approximately 18" x 12")
  7. Cover dough with pepperoni and shredded cheese.
  8. Roll lengthwise.
  9. Place on cookie sheet, seam down. Pinch together ends.
  10. Bake approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
