Perfect Microwave Rice
  • 2 C long grain rice
  • 3 1/2 C water or stock
  • 1 1/2 t butter or oil
  • salt and pepper
  1. Place ingredients in a large glass bowl. Microwave on high uncovered for 10 minutes.Then microwave on med-low uncovered for 15 minutes. DO NOT STIR RICE AT ANY TIME during cooking process. Season with salt and pepper and fluff with fork before serving.
