  • 3 Cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • ½ C Pine Nuts
  • 1/3 C Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ C Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt
  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until thoroughly blended. Add in your desired amount of salt (I used about a tea spoon) and pulse a few more times manually to combine the salt.
  2. I've seen Pesto sauces range from a fairly runny liquid to extremely thick and dense. This recipe falls in between. More Oil will thin out the pesto's appearance and texture while higher amounts of nuts and cheese will thicken up the pesto. Any way you decide to prepare it, it's delicious!
