Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Bell Peppers
INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 1
  • • 1 large green bell pepper
  • • 1/3 lb. lean ground beef
  • • 1/3 white onion chopped
  • • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • • mayo
  • • baby bella mushrooms
  • • salt and pepper to preference
  • • garlic powder to preference
  • • butter
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Cut bell peppers in half long ways & place into deep baking dish
  2. 2. Coat top of pepper in a layer of mayo & cover with a slice of
  3. provolone cheese.
  4. 3. Brown 1/3 lb. ground beef with salt, pepper & garlic powder.
  5. 4. Cook mushrooms with butter & garlic until tender
  6. 5. Combine ground beef, chopped raw onions, and cooked
  7. mushrooms.
  8. 6. Scoop into pepper halves & top with another slice of provolone
  9. cheese.
  10. 7. Bake on 350 degrees for 15 minutes then Broil for 2-3 minutes
