Pie Cookies

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 3oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup fruit preserves any tart flavor
  • Glaze (optional)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  1. Cream together butter and cream cheese. Add flour; mix thourghly. Chill for 1 hour. On a floured surface roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick and cut into 3 or 4 inch circles. Place scant teaspoon of fruit in center of cookie moisten edges with water. Fold over into crescent shape and seal edges. Bake at 350 on parchment paper 20 minutes. While cookies are cooling, mix together the powdered sugar and milk. Drizzle of cooled cookies. Store in air-tight container. Makes about 7-10 cookies depending on size.
