Pierogi Casserole

  • Onions
  • Butter 3 sticks
  • Instant mashed potatoes
  • Mafalda noodles 16 oz.
  • Block cheddar cheese
  1. Sauté onions (2 or more) in 2 sticks of melted butter.
  2. Make instant mashed potatoes for 8 servings according to package directions and set aside.
  3. Boil Mafalda noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Melt another stick of butter in the bottom of a large baking dish. Place the remaining ingredients in the baking dish and mix together or layer ingredients separately to your liking. I always mix together to ensure each scoop contains all ingredients.
  5. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes
